Class 5-307 read the most minutes in the 5th grade with 41,655 minutes! Well done, 5-307!

And congrats to Liel of 5-302, who was the individual winner with 5,823 minutes.

Jump-a-Thon

We had a blast at our Jump-a-Thon assembly.  Member of the US Double Dutch team performed for the students, as well as our own acting Principal Mr. Buckley. More information about the Jump-a-Thon will go home soon.

Family Friday

Thanks to all of the families who joined us last Friday to help make whales for our class art project!

Michael Buckley - the Author!

Author Michael Buckley, creator of the Sisters Grimm and Nerds book series, charmed the fifth graders with stories of his many adventures and his work on television shows like Rugrats, Late Night with David Letterman and The Fairly Oddparents. I think many kids were inspired to become writers after his chat with us!

307 Buddies

For our school's Read Aloud Day, 307 read books with their buddies in Ms. Capua's class.
