Stations!
Fifth graders worked on stations related to the Cherokee and the Trail of Tears, as well as the connection of buffalo to Native Americans during the 1800s. Students analyzed quotes, speeches, diagrams, maps, paintings and photographs to develop a deeper understanding of these time periods.
Brooklyn Museum Trip
Imani led us on a tour of the American Gallery and the Soul of a Nation exhibit.
